My memories of David originate many years ago, in my youth, through my Dad, a colleague of David's. I fondly remember duck hunting with Bruce and the two Dad's, being beaten at squash when David was in his seventies (!!), and best of all, visiting David near Regina in April 2012, when we had a good chat. I will not forget his gentlemanly character, his love of sports and how sharp and witty he was in advanced age- an inspiration to all those who aspire to age gracefully and live life to the fullest. I join you, from Ottawa, in toasting his memory. Ian Szlazak
