Obituary of George Fefchuck

It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of George Fefchuck on Monday, May 6, 2019 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Fefchuck; sister Anne Karpa and brother John Fefchuk.  He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Doreen; children Darla (Randy Toth), and Georgette (Tim Bradley); grandchildren, Cory Toth (Christina), Curtis Toth (Jamie), Christopher Toth (Shanty Hansinger), Cydney Frank (Tyler) and Kiera Bradley; six great-grandchildren, Addison, Morgan, Owen, Everett, Ari and Daya; sisters, Betty Glen (St. Catharines, Ontario), and Sophie MacKay (Regina); sisters-in-law, Marlene Paranuik (George), and Geraldine Krienke (Larry); and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Cupar, Saskatchewan George moved to Regina with his family at the age of 10. He had a great love of country music, playing guitar and in his younger years had a band called the Happy Valley Ranch Boys. He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid hunter and fisherman spending many a hunting season in northern Saskatchewan. George worked in the moving industry most of his life and throughout his career was active in the community belonging to various organizations such as the Regina Jaycees, Regina Chamber Of Commerce and was a lifetime member of the Regina Wildlife Federation. Our family wishes to thank the staff at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the loving care George received in his final days. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd, Regina, SK on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
