Obituary of Pauline Anne Duncan Bonneau

May 11, 1956 – May 11, 2019

 

After several years contending with dementia, Pauline Duncan Bonneau passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2019 with family members by her side. A loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend; those who knew Pauline will recall the passion and vibrancy which symbolizes her life. Pauline earned her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1978 and went on to practice law in Saskatchewan for 35 years. In 1992, she was granted the honorary designation of Queen’s Counsel (QC) for her exceptional legal ability and service. An accomplished pianist, Pauline participated in a wide range of musical pursuits throughout her life and earned an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) diploma. One of Pauline’s greatest joys was travelling the world and sharing new experiences with her family and friends. Pauline spent the last two years of her life at Parkside Extendicare, and her family will be forever grateful for the loving care she received there. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Frieda Paulowicz, Pauline is survived by her husband Marc Bonneau; son Greg Duncan (Brianna); step-children Devon Bonneau (Chantelle), Taira Bonneau, and Arthur Bonneau (Victoria); sister Wanda Krauss (Kenneth); father-in-law Marcel Bonneau and mother-in-law Ernestine Bonneau. A Celebration of Pauline’s life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, anyone so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation, 225-1874 Scarth Street, Regina, SK S4P 4B3, in support of Mental Health. The family thanks their family and friends for their kind support and messages of comfort at this time of grieving.
