Obituary of Eugene Daniel Lobsinger

EUGENE DANIEL DAN? LOBSINGER Eugene passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the age of 83 years. Dan is lovingly remembered by wife Jean; granddaughters Erin (Joel Trapp) Hubenig, Sara Hubenig; daughter Sandra (Murray Sawatzky) Hubenig; James and Kristina Sawatkzy and sister-in-law Deanna Lobsinger. He was predeceased by his daughter Sharon; parents John Eugene and Hannah; brothers Patrick and Frank; and sister Grace. Dan was employed with SaskTel for 35 years, retiring in 1985. He and Jean enjoyed 31 summers at their cottage in Regina Beach fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends. His favorite pastimes included watching his granddaughters play sports, his deep sea fishing excursions with his brother Pat, golfing and playing bridge. Dan was a kind, caring, fun-loving and generous husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed.
