THOMAS EVAN LAWRENCE “LAURIE” GAMBLE July 11, 1929 - January 14, 2013 Lawrence passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 14th, at the age of 83 years. Lawrence was born July 11, 1929 on 27-07-22-W2 to Thomas and Teressia Gamble (nee Lockhart). Predeceased by his parents, his first wife Ida (nee Kuss); his eldest sister Elizabeth (Beth) and brother-in-law Harry Warren of Qualicum Beach, B.C. Laurie is survived by his loving wife of twenty-five years, Norine (nee Sipes); her family Lynnette Robins (Greg Peter), and Michelle Shiels (Lorne); grandsons Brandon (Lorissa) and Kyle Robins; granddaughters Claudia and Rachel Shiels; great-grandsons Oliver and Trypp; his sister Jean Tice of Toronto and extended family members from the Gamble, Kuss, and Sipes families. A Celebration of Lawrence’s life will be held at the Ogema United Church, Ogema, SK on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with interment and reception to follow. Flowers most gratefully declined.
