1951 – 2019

Joan, late of Buena Vista, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at the age of 68 years with family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Florence Mitchell and father Ross Mitchell. Joan is survived by her spouse Duncan; daughter Janet (Steve) of Regina; son Christopher of Regina; and grandchildren, Joshua, Kayla, Payton and Tanner. She was a very positive influence on many people’s lives and will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to all the staff on the Palliative Care Unit. A Celebration of Joan’s Life will be held at the South Shore Elementary School, Regina Beach, SK, on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Family and friends so wishing may make memorial donations in Joan’s name to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, 200-4545 Parliament Avenue, Regina, SK, S4W 0G3.
