Helen passed away peacefully on Friday, July 5, 2019. She was born in Regina on November 7, 1934 to parents Lela (Brown) and Harry Gibbons. Helen lived in Regina all her life; she attended Scott Collegiate and worked at Credit Union Central for many years. Helen married her sweetheart Bill Woods in 1958. Aunt Helen loved to dance, to ice skate, roller skate, and socialize with family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; her siblings Clive, Bruce, and Sonyia; brothers-in-law Percy Bronson, Doug Woods, John Elliott, and Jim Loney; and sister-in-law Irene Gibbons. Helen will be remembered by her husband, Bill; her brother Myles Sr.; sisters-in-law, Anna Woods and Donna Gibbons. Auntie Helen was loved by generations of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours who were always welcome in their home. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Helen may do so to a charity of their choice.
