Obituary of Lillian Victoria Van Luven
Lillian, late of Regina, SK., died peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2019, at the age of 92. She was a talented homemaker, a diligent farm wife and an avid gardener. In later life, she became a caregiver at Shalom Nursing Home in Cupar, SK. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Ada Burley; her brother Mervyn and her husband of 70 years, Clare Van Luven. Lillian is survived by her five children, Lynne (Drew), Ray (Loretta), Colleen (Wayne), Mark (Tammy), Michelle (Tom). Lillian left eleven grandchildren: Leah (Andrew), Kelly (Chad), Regan (Jaret), Tyler (Dion), Brodie, Shea (Danielle), Landon, Carson, Laine, Taitt, Kaia; fourteen great-grandchildren, Jaxton, Kashlyn, Nyah, Taylor, Karyss, Kaell, Lyrik, Jasper, Piper, Bohdi, Berkely, Neve, Brielle and Luke; three sisters-in-law, Helen Van Luven, Norma Flemming and Evelyn Bradshaw Jay; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A family memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. The family thanks Dr. M. Kiapway, Daniella and the staff at Victoria Park Personal Care Community for Lillian’s compassionate care. Thanks also to her dedicated caregivers from Bayshore Home Health.
