Obituary of Vernon Arthur McNabb

With family by his side, Vern passed peacefully into the hands of the Creator on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Noel and Catherine McNabb in 1982; brothers: Douglas Bellegarde, Murray McNabb, John Bellegarde, and Eddie McNabb. Vern is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of eighteen years, Cynthia; children: Marla, Sherrisse, Cory, Mitchell (Kimberley), and Vernon Jr.; Mushums baby Mckenah; his grandchildren and great-grandchild; brothers: Ron Bellegarde, Morris (Connie) Bellegarde, George (Carol), Kenny, Dean, Darwin (Linda), Stuart (Jackie); sisters: Karen (Duane) Delorme, Sharon McNabb-Pinay, and Muriel (Harley) Dubois; very close and special friend Dave Harmen; mother-in-law Gloria (Don) Phillips; brothers-in-law: Derwin (Donna) and Lionel (Patsy); sisters-in-law: Shelly (Richard) and Sherry (Billy); as well as numerous nephews, nieces, extended grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Peepeekisis Pesakastew School, Peepeekisis First Nation. A Traditional and Christian Funeral Service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Peepeekisis Pesakastew School, with interment in Peepeekisis Catholic Cemetery.
