Obituary of Avis Edith Griffiths

Avis, age 62 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, April 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her father and mother Cliff and Edith Hayward and her father and mother-in-law Dalton and Betty Griffiths. Avis will be lovingly remembered by Terry, her husband of 39 years; one son, Todd (Orisha); grandson Keegan; two sisters Alma (Louis) Horvath and Marlene (Bill) Farrel; in-laws Harold (Muriel), Bob, Kim (Cheri) and Debbie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Twenty years of her working life were spent with The Co-operators (CIS) and eighteen years with Walmart. Avis loved riding horses and watching her son play ball. Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Cheryl Thul officiating.
