Obituary of Harvie Walter Wilkening

WILKENING - Harvie Walter - It is with both sadness and joy that we announce the passing on June 27, 2008 of our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle. Sadness, because he has left us, and joy, in knowing that he is now at peace and no longer suffering. He was predeceased by his parents, David and Jessie, and his brothers, George and Murley. Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Norma, daughter Paula and her husband David Horner of California, his sister Eileen Fowler of Sherwood Park, Alberta, and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, if so desired, to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6, or to a charity of your choice. Our heartfelt thanks is extended to Dr. Blignaut, doctors and staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre and the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit, and especially the staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. A private service will be held for the immediate family and relatives. Friends are invited to join the family at a reception to be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 1:00 p.m., at the Regina Funeral Home, Highway #1 East. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.speersfuneralchapel.com Be the change you wish to see in the world? " Gandhi
