October 24, 1995 – October 12, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden accidental passing of Kelly David Strobl on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Kelly was born at Regina General Hospital, October 24, 1995. His early education was at both Haultain and McDermid schools, graduating from Thom Collegiate. After high school, Kelly pursued his carpentry ticket, completing his Journeyman ticket in 2017. He was scheduled to write his Red Seal ticket in winter of 2020. Kelly had many passions including sledding, motorcycles, trucks, snowboarding, quadding and mudding. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Peter Krywulak. Kelly leaves to mourn his mother and father, Amy and Rick Strobl; sister Alii (Ryan) Hesterman; nephew Zayne and future Hesterman baby (April 2020); his soul mate Macheala Read; his future child (March 2020); his fur babies Cooper, Maxx and Sadie; his grandma Jean Krywulak; grandparents Richard and Estella Strobl; Macheala’s family, mother Val Kuchmy (Ted),  brother Jayden and father Justin Read; special friends Brandon Johannsen, Karter Neuls and Charlie Lewis; and  lastly he leaves many friends, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held at Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK, on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. The family asks that everyone dresses in jeans and a t-shirt to honour Kelly.  In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to Baby Strobl. Cheques can be made payable to Amy Strobl or Macheala Read.
