Kathy was born in Stornoway, Saskatchewan on June 27, 1950. She was a happy child who actively rode horses, climbed trees, played softball, loved gymnastics & tap dancing. Kathy went to Central Collegiate High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Education from University of Regina. Kathy's desire to work with kids took her to Northern Saskatchewan where she taught for years in Pinehouse Lake and La Loche, SK and then in White Rock, BC.
When Kathy connected with you, you knew you were in her life forever. She always had some insight to share, her generosity and loyalty will be remembered by so many. Kathy loved her home, tinkering in the garden, and lighting up the BBQ; friends and family were important to her. Kathy's loyal feline companions (Kitso, Jazz & Toby) were always around her and gave her the most joy!
Kathy so enjoyed watching movies and listening to music; she was also an avid reader. Kathy made the best Cabbage Rolls and Chicken Cordon Bleu. She had a keen sense of humour that she shared with whoever was in her company. When Kathy connected with you through music, good food, movies, a laugh, you were a friend forever.
Kathy will sincerely be missed by her family, friends and colleagues from many various industry circles.
Special thanks and gratitude to the entire medical staff/teams of Qu’Appelle Health and the Pasqua Hospital Physicians/Nurses and all the lovely medical support team players recently and over the years.
