Obituary of Hilda Globisch

Hilda passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Pasqua Hospital at the age of 86 years. She was born on August 16, 1933 in Romania and immigrated to Canada in 1949. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Joachim; her daughter Rosemarie and brother-in-law Erhard Globisch all in 2013; her parents Johann and Katherina Hicke and brothers Joseph, Frank and John. Left to cherish Hilda’s memory are her son Wayne (Debbie Parker); sister Erika McEwen and her family; sister-in-law Mary Globisch and her family; sister-in-law Erna Hicke and her family; several nieces and nephews; as well as close friends. Hilda lived and worked in Regina for many years. Upon retiring, she moved to Buena Vista and finally to her lovely condo in Lumsden. At her request, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will be held in Marieton Cemetery at Glen Harbour at a later date.
