Obituary of Susan Emily Garton

GARTON, Susan E. (nee Hawrylak) Susan passed away quietly in the presence of her family at the Pasqua Hospital on Saturday, December 28, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents William and Maude Hawrylak. Susan is survived by her husband Peter, sons Christopher and his wife Kathryn, and Michael and his wife Amanda, loved grandsons Connor, Matthew and Odin, sister Lynne, brother Mark and his wife Donna and family, Paul and Bree, aunt and uncle Judith and John Lahey. She will be especially missed by her four-legged companion Abby, as well as many special friends made over the years. As a long-time volunteer and in the past few years a patient of the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic, Susan was most appreciative of the support and friends met through the clinic. To honour Susan’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family celebration will be held in 2020. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses who graciously cared for Susan during her last days. Flowers are gratefully declined.
