He passed away peacefully with his family at his side. He is survived by his children, Larry, Cheryl (Dwight) Carson, Darren and daughter-in-law Helen, his wife, friend and true love, Mae and her children Leisa and Tyler Boa and his five grandchildren Taylor and Carter Carson, Rachelle Liski, Nicholas and Joshua Boa. He is also survived by his brother Art (Evelyn), sisters-in-law Marie and Elaine Liski and Marlene Skaalrud, mother-in-law Dorothy Tiefenbach, special friends Todd Nelson and Gordon Wicijowski and many dear cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Gerry attended St. Josephs Separate School and Campion College in Regina, earned his Public Administration Certificate from the University of Saskatchewan, his Certified Management Accountant designation and was honoured as a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA). He attended the Banff School of Advanced Management, the Juran Institute and Queens University, specializing in international business. Gerry worked in the public and private sector before joining the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool where he worked in a number of Vice President positions, retiring as Executive Vice President-Grain Group. He went on to establish Liski & Associates Management Consultants with projects in Canada, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the Czech Republic and the international award winning export marketing project in Bulgaria. Over the years Gerry was appointed to many corporate Boards of Directors. He was proud to serve as President of the Ranch Ehrlo Society, the Society of Management Accountants and on the national board of CMA Canada. Always an avid sports enthusiast he played football, fastball and basketball for Campion, Little Flower and community leagues winning provincial championships and being inducted into the rural hall of fame with his former Cullins Lake fastball team. As his grandchildren attend Luther High School, he was quick to remind them that he played in the first LIT. Gerry always had a love of the outdoors and his joy was his Highwood Beach cottage. He spent endless hours working on one project or another at the lake " he always had his list. He was a dedicated father sharing his principles and values with his children and being a constant presence in their lives. In later years, his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He cherished each moment he spent with each one of them attending their games, concerts, recitals, laughing and being with them at the lake - building good memories. Gerry was a very special person whose presence in our lives will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank all of those who have supported us through this difficult time. A special thank you to Dr. C. Johnson, Dr. S. Rayson, Dr. P. Tai, Dr. Vu, Reverend Blair Dixon and all the nurses and staff at the Pasqua Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
