Obituary of Joan Anne Wilton

Joan passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the age of 79 years. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne and her parents James Stoffregen and Ella Beck. Joan is survived by her daughters, Diana (Rod) Dillon and Michelle (Terry) King; grandchildren, Kris DuMont, Danielle (Trevor) Weir, Jessica King (Andrew Brittner), Shayna Dillon and Jarod (Melissa) Dillon and great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Tanner, Peightyn, Piper and Annika. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Raymond (Audrey) Stoffregen; sister Gloria Moffat and several other extended family and friends.  Special thanks to Joan’s niece Cheryl Najjar who flew in from Oklahoma to be with her beloved Auntie Joan one last time. We are forever grateful to the staff of The Victorian Personal Care Home where Mom lived for the last 6 months.  The loving care they provided every day for “Joanie” made life so much easier for all of us. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of Pasqua Hospital Ward 3D for the respect, gentleness and compassion they provided in Mom’s final days. In respect of the wishes of the family there will be no funeral service.  Flowers are gratefully declined.
