Frances Pearson

Frances passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020 in Regina, SK at the age of 97 years. She was born in Saskatchewan near Fish Creek in 1922. Frances left the family farm near Alvena during the Great Depression. After leaving Saskatchewan, she spent time in London, England and finally settled in Toronto where two of her brothers had previously settled. After 37 years of marriage and the death of her husband Cecil George Pearson, she moved to the Kanata suburb of Ottawa. Frances resided there until the death of her partner Cam Gallager after spending 29 years together. She then returned to Regina in order to be close to her last surviving sister. Frances was predeceased by her parents Peter Roslinski and Francis Balabuch, siblings Mary Danylyshyn (Daniel), Lillian Kaminecki (Tony), John Roslinski (Anne), Joseph Roslinski (Jean), Rose Bajowski (John), Sophie Palchinski (Alex), Michael Roslinski (Mary), Helen Harasymchuk (Steve), Margaret Stadnyk (Deacon Michael), William/Isadore Roslin (Tillie) and Janet Boyko (Mike). She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones across Canada. Many thanks to all the staff at Royal Oaks Care Home in Regina for the compassionate and safe care that they provided to help her spend her last years with her sister Margaret. Due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus, Frances’ family have decided to celebrate her life at a later date.
