I was sorry to see the notice of Marion's passing. I had known her for a number of years through the Canadian Federation of University Women and other contacts. I was always impressed by her range of interests and her energy for their improvement and advancement. I saw her last fall at the bank and she was her usual energetic and forceful self. Diane Secoy

Marion was more than my mother in law, she was a dear friend. Like all relationships we had our ups and downs but I’m happy to say that over the last 20 years we shared so many experiences including a trip to England that I think they are still talking about. She was so generous and sharing with some of her deepest thoughts, many that ended up as her most beautiful poetry. I was so happy that she decided to self publish a lot of her poems and I was most happy to help see them come together. She managed to do what we all want to do and that’s to leave this world a little better than when we entered it. Because of her love of the living skies I truly believe she picked the sun set for her final goodbye. Rest now mom as you have been through enough pain. You will always have a very special place in my heart. Lee
