Obituary of Gertrude Louise Gottinger

GOTTINGER, Gertrude

Gertrude, late of Regina Renaissance passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the age of 95 years. She was predeceased by her parents John and Mathilda (Hack) Gottinger; brother Victor (Mary); sisters Ethelene (Albert) Niebergall and Olive Gottinger; niece Dorothy Gottinger; and nephew Len Gottinger. Gertrude is survived by her nieces Jeanne Niebergall and Janice Gottinger; great-nephew Jordan Gottinger; as well as special caregiver Marie Shipley-Powell. Gertrude was employed with Sask Wheat Pool most of her working career. She was an avid Roughrider fan and was season ticket holder for over 50 years. Gertrude’s biggest joys were traveling to many places across Canada, United States, many countries in Europe and different Islands in the Caribbean. Everyone enjoyed her interesting stories from all her travels. Gertrude had a great sense of humor and was a kind and thoughtful person. She will be missed by all who knew her. Interment will be held in Neudorf Village Cemetery, Neudorf SK on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Brian Mee officiating. Flowers gratefully declined.
