Doreen Muriel (Rosevear) was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to a family of nine children. She was very active while growing up during the Depression. Singing in the choir and figure skating were her favorite activities. She was affectionately known as Donnie.? Once she finished school, Doreen enrolled in Business College. Her career took her to Edmonton, Alberta where she met her husband, Laurie McPherson. They married in 1955 and moved to Dinsmore, Saskatchewan. Doreens greatest legacy was the giving of herself unselfishly. Doreen was predeceased by her husband Laurie; parents Eveline and Jim Rosevear, in-laws Peter and Eleanor McPherson; and many immediate family members. She is survived by her four children; Patti (Scott) Luff and their children, Allison, Donovan and Heather; Diane McPherson; Margaret Finney and her children, Derrick, Ryan and Robynn; Peter McPherson; brothers Bill (Elaine) Rosevear and Jack (Sally) Rosevear; sister-in-law Yvette McPherson; brothers-in-law George Robertson and Duncan McPherson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
