FISHER, Goldwyne (Goldie)

Goldwyne (Goldie) Fisher, late of Regina, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the age of 78 years.  He was predeceased by his parents Mary and Robert Fisher; brother Tyrone Fisher; sister Delores Fisher. Goldie is survived by his loving wife Georgina; daughter Sherry Fisher; son David Fisher; grandchildren Shaylin (Ryan) Selinger, Royce Gorniak and Autym Gorniak; great-grandchildren Zaylie and Braeya Selinger. He is survived by his sisters Marina Roy and Denise (Rick] Morin. Goldie was a hardworking man and worked for SGI as an appraiser until he retired at the age of 65.  He taught his children and grandchildren the meaning of unconditional love and the true value of a dollar.  Goldie was a kind hearted, strong man and loved his family more than anything in the world.  He also loved getting together with the boys and having a few beers on Saturday afternoons.  Goldie will be missed dearly by all that knew him and his kind and loving way.  At Goldie's request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.  The family would like to send special thanks to the palliative care nurse, Patricia who was able to get Goldie set up comfortably at home to begin his journey to heaven.
