Brian and Trish
So terribly sorry to hear of Beth's passing. I have so many memories of wandering down to your house and having coffee and chats in the kitchen. The fun Christmas craft sales in the basement with all of the local craft artists. Beth painted a special memory painting for each of my children to remind them of Saskatchewan as well as a rendition of the home I grew up in in Vermont. She lives with all of us here in BC. I will always cherish the memories of that time in our lives when our kids were young.

My sincerest condolences to Brian, Tricia and all of the family on the loss of an amazing woman. I'll always remember her warm and welcoming smile and her great sense of humour. For so many years I've treasured 5 of Beth's Saskatchewan paintings. They now hang proudly on my wall in New South Wales, Australia. Aussies love to see my former winter scenes and I love to think of Beth and our times together there. Rest in the arms of Erin and David.
Kind Regards,
Colleen Schonhoffer (Stengler)

It is with great sadness that I read of Beth's passing in the Leader Post. I was lucky enough to have atttended some of her early classes way back in Normanview days. Beth was so patient and supportive of my struggle to become an artist. I have never drawn so many elevators in my life. I even have some of the prairie scenes she helped me create.
Through the years I continued to take classes from Beth at the LLLC on college. Our paths crossed many times over the coming years.
I always stopped to chat and enjoy a few laughs with Beth. At our last meeting we talked of getting together and painting in our home but unfortunately it never did happen.
She will be missed by so many but through her kindness, humour, love of life and her paintings her memory will live on.
I am sorry for your loss.

Beth taught me how to avoid making mud, to always remember where the sun is and to manage my water. Such fun! So many good memories and laughter I’ll cherish forever.
I’m so sad for Brian and the family, what a huge sadness for you.
Rest In Peace my friend.
