Obituary of Lorraine Butler

Lorraine passed away peacefully at Age Care Skypointe in Calgary AB, on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at age 85.  Lorraine was born in Lumsden, SK on November 13, 1934 to James and Mona Gordon.  She was predeceased by her husband Clarke; daughter Susan (David) Warner; and grandson Scott Miller.  Lorraine is survived by her son James Miller (Whitby ON); daughter Linda (Barry) Barclay (Airdrie, AB); and sister Joan Bernier (Regina, SK).  She will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Cindy (Jimmy) Dean, Sheri Noseworthy (Geoff), Stacy (Rick) Yoselevsky, Kody (Celeste) Miller, Krystal Castle (Bill), Kristopher Miller, Kolby Miller; and cherished great-grandmother to nine and great-great grandmother to one. Lorraine will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends.  She always held a special place in her heart for her niece, Barb (Jerry) Zarkow. Lorraine enjoyed spending time with family, where humor was not in short supply when she was present. She loved reading, crosswords and a good game of crib. Arrangements entrusted to Pierson Funeral Service of Calgary, AB and Speers Funeral Chapel in Regina, SK.  Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service and Interment of Lorraine’s cremated remains at Regina Memorial Gardens, 4001 Victoria Avenue East. Regina, SK on Friday, September 4, 2020 at  1:00 p.m.
