Obituary of Lisa Jean Michelle Tessier
TESSIER, Lisa Jean Michelle
1973 - 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa, of Regina, SK, at the age of 47 years old.
Lisa is survived by her father Barry (Cheryl); mother Eileen Smith; son Jordan; daughter Taneesha (Mike); her cherished granddaughter Sadie; sister Mandy (Randy); nephews Brayden and Mason; brother Dustin; niece Sydney; step-brother Troy (Sirinee); niece (Sophia); Auntie Barb (Carl); Auntie Gail (Gary); and Lisa’s other aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Children were the sparkle in Lisa’s eyes, particularly her son (Jordan), daughter (Taneesha), granddaughter (Sadie), and nieces and nephews who hold a special place in Lisa’s enormous and generous heart. These children – especially her light and joy granddaughter (Sadie) - will suffer the largest loss and will one day realize how lucky they were to have such a special Grandma and Auntie.
Lisa had another special girl in her life, where she was employed as a live-in nanny and spoke of this family and their little girl (Maeve) as her own. She was fortunate to live/work with this kind-hearted family, who were an integral part of her happiness. Lisa had a special bond with people from all walks of life, particularly children and those with special needs. The Special Olympics Raiders Soccer Team was a second family to Lisa. Always wanting to help wherever she could, Lisa gave so much of her heart and herself. We are all going to miss her more than we can fathom. We are so grateful that Lisa has touched our lives and has left us with wonderful memories.
We love you and are so proud to have been part of your life, even though our time with you was way too short. Thank you for being the special daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that you were. We take comfort in knowing that you will be welcomed with loving arms in Heaven by Jason, Auntie Lena, and Uncle Doug. Until we meet again, you will forever be our Guardian Angel.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that you consider making a donation to Special Olympics Saskatchewan via the gofundme page they have established at https://gf.me/u/yi2xqc or at 1121 Winnipeg St., Regina, SK, S4R 1J5.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private memorial gathering will be held. To leave an online message of condolence for the family during this difficult time please visit Lisa’s Tribute Page at www.speersfuneralchapel.com
