Obituary of Clayton Montgomery Paget
PAGET, Clayton
January 9, 1939 – July 25, 2020
Clay Paget passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 81 after a battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Margaret; his sister and brother-in-law, Verda and Art and his first wife Joan. Clay is survived by his loving wife Vivian; his sons Shann, Todd and Wade; granddaughters Hailey and Tara; and brother Milton (Elsie). Clay’s first love was his family. He loved going to his son’s hockey, baseball and football games and was proud of the men they have become. His second love was the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Clay had season tickets for 50 years. He was known as “Coach” to those who sat with him at games. Clay was a very well-respected insurance adjuster starting his career with SGIO in Saskatoon, Safco in Calgary and Brower and Company in Regina before opening his own firm, Clay Paget Adjusters. He finished his career at the age of 75 as a partner with AC All Claims. Clay and Vivian spent winters in Mesa, Arizona and had the pleasure of taking many trips and cruises together. Our family would like to thank his doctors, the palliative home care team and our many friends that have been there to support us through this difficult journey. As per Clay’s wishes there will be a private graveside service. Our family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Clay’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
