Obituary of Douglas Yee
Douglas, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2020 at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by his father Terry, Doug is survived by his mother Kay; wife Lotus; daughters Kendra (Ken) Ethan, Owen and Grace; Nicole (Chad) Benjamin and Jacob; and Dana; sisters Fern (Ron) Justin and Andrea; Lena (Joe) Derek, Brandon and Jordan and brother Clarence. Doug attended Martin Collegiate and then attained his Journeyman’s status in Carpentry in 1985. Throughout his career Doug built many residential and commercial buildings in Regina and worked on many construction projects within Canada. In 1999 he became an instructor of carpentry at SIAST. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. The family would like to thank the many nurses who provided palliative care, for their kindness, care, and compassion. Special thanks to Dr. Stewart McMillan for his longtime care and friendship. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private memorial will be held. Flowers most gratefully declined.
