Obituary of Don Johnston

JOHNSTON, Donald

Donald, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 92 years.  He was predeceased by his mother Rhona Johnston. Don is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Stella; four children Pat Johnston (Vince) of Indian Head, SK, Donna Bowering (George) of Abbotsford, BC, Lorrie Johnston of Regina, SK and Dan Johnston (Kim) of Regina, SK; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Don attended Victoria School and Central Collegiate in Regina and worked in various jobs throughout his career. He spent 17 years with Provincial Corrections before retiring in 1993.  Don enjoyed much of his life at both Katepwa and Pasqua lakes, where the cottage was the hub of activity for family and friends during the summers. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Don’s life.
