I am so sorry to hear of Nelson passing (Mr. Boyer to me). The year was 1959 when he taught in Bruno, Sask. He roomed and boarded next door to us at Doetzels'. Many evenings we had him over for a chat and snacks. I was 12 and while playing road hockey in front of the houses, and having been scored on, I randomly flicked the puck and broke the tail light on his brand new 1959 Ford. Scared I had to go and apologize. It all worked out ok, lol. He was a great athlete. He played hockey in a tournament in Bruno and fascinated the crowd with a team from St. Louis, with only 7 players they walked through the tournament to win. Great memories. My condolences to all of his family.

Sending our deepest condolences to Marc and Yolande on the passing of your father and to all the grandchildren. We always loved visiting with Nelson and your late mom Claudette and share great memories with all of you kids. We are very happy we got to have a lovely visit with him in March. So sorry we aren't able to attend the services in person but we are watching through the live stream. Lots of love from Aunty Lorraine and all the family <3
