Obituary of Jim 'Nee Jang' Yee

JIM NEE JANG? YEE It is with sadness the family of Jim Nee Jang? Yee announces his sudden passing on Sunday, August 29, 2010. Jim was predeceased by his parents and one brother. Left to mourn his passing are his loving wife, Wai King; children Terry of Calgary, AB; Ping of Surrey, BC; Jason of Surrey, BC and William (Joyce) of Regina and granddaughter Jade. He is also survived by a sister as well as several nieces and nephews. Jim moved to Regina in 1953 from China, where he started his own grocery business. He worked as a chef for the Hotel Saskatchewan for many years until his retirement. Visitation will be held from 7:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel. Interment to follow in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donation in Jims memory may be made the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917 Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
