Obituary of Melitta Regina Margreta Bosse

MELITTA BOSSE

 April 15, 1950 – October 12, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our sister Melitta Bosse. She will be greatly missed.

The world lost a sister, aunty, cousin, friend, amazing teacher, avid reader and world traveller.  She touched everyone who knew and met her.

Melitta was born in Ehmen, Germany and the family immigrated to Canada in 1953.  Her love of travelling began at age 16 when she visited Germany and met the Bosse families there.

After receiving her Bachelor of Education degree, she travelled to France for her first teaching job.  She taught, mentored, and inspired thousands over the forty plus years of her career.

She is survived by her sisters Helene (Stuart) Henderson and Brigitte (Alvin) Nelson; her nephew Stuart (Kim) Henderson;  nieces Kristen Henderson, Chelsea (John) Alheit, Chantelle Bosse, Dealla Goodings and Simone Fellinger; eight great nephews; two great nieces; and numerous cousins in Regina, Texas and Germany.

Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place.
