Obituary of Maynard Campbell Gray

MAYNARD CAMPBELL GRAY

Maynard, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the age of 93 years. He was predeceased by his wife Ida in 1993 and his daughter Darlene Gray in 2013.  Maynard is survived by his children, Dorothy (Ross) Beal, Don Gray, Donna (Emmet) Boyle, and David Gray (Pam Norman); as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maynard was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan on August 14, 1924 and married Ida Anne Sippola in 1947. He started his career in the theatre business as a projectionist and a theatre manager. Maynard then had a successful career as a salesman making long lasting friendships before retiring at the age of 90. At Maynard’s request there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maynard and Ida Gray Fund through South Saskatchewan Community Foundation, 3934 Gordon Road, Regina, SK S4S 6Y3.
