Earlier this month, Clare and I were blessed by being able to visit with Mary Lou one last time on a trip home from Alberta. It is a memory we shall both deeply cherish. Years ago, Bob and Mary Lou generously allowed me to bring my telescope out to their farm from the city so I could observe the stars under dark Prairie skies. Many times I was invited into the house to warm up, and Mary Lou never failed to provide some of her scrumptious baked goodies to help me revive! Her generosity of heart and warm smile made us all the better for knowing her. Truly hers was a life well lived. You are much missed, Mary Lou. For Bob and all the family, our prayers and deepest condolences for your loss.

Dear Bob and family. Our condolences to all of you.
It was wondering growing up with Mary Lou. As kids we were always at the farm or cottage.
She would always have something to eat or drink for us. She made the best hot chocolate and coffee.
She was always kind and gracious.
