Uncle Harold, Cheryl, Charlene, Colette and families,
We are so sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of spending time visiting you at your restaurant. I always thought that Aunty Monica looks like Queen Elizabeth, and that she was regal and elegant! She was also very warm and friendly, and I loved how her eyes twinkled when she laughed!
We are praying for all of you to have strength in the days to come. I have no doubt that Aunty Monica is up in heaven laughing with my dad (Bob), Uncle David, Uncle Eddy & Aunt Gladys, Aunty Pauline, Grandpa John and Grandma Barbara.
With our deepest condolences,
Denise (Wollbaum), Kevin, Ethan & Olivia Froese

Monica made me feel so welcome when I moved into the same apartment block. I usually bumped into her while walking down the hall for my daily exercise. My deepest sympathy to Harold and his family.

So sorry for your loss Uncle Harold, Cheryl, Charlene, and Colette (and families)! I always loved coming to visit when we were younger, the family suppers, the card playing, the singalongs....and of course the wonderful Chocolate log cake, that no matter how hard I tried, it never tasted as good as Aunties! Years pass, our families grew and many moved away, so our opportunity to gather became fewer and fewer, but I cherish the memories and wish to extend out Deepest Condolences. We hope you find peace knowing she is in Heaven with Family and Friends who prepared a spot for her. love Darryl & Jocelyn Hodel & family

I met Monica a couple of times while at work with Cheryl. You could not help but be instantly drawn to her positive happy energy. She literally lite up the space and you immediately just felt happy being in her presence. The bond and love between Cheryl and her Mom was was so apparent to everyone you just wanted to stand there with them in their happy bubble that virtually glowed. My thoughts are with the family for the loss of such a rare treasure.
With deepest sympathy Shelley Jopp
