The family of Maxyne Dawson would like to inform you that she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the age of 89 years after suffering a stroke after Christmas. She has now joined her husband Phil, who predeceased her in 2009. Mom is survived by her children, Karen (Tom), Grant (Natasha), Charlene (Gavin); her two special grandsons, Curtis and his mom Joanne, Kai and his dad Garth; our extended families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her passions in life were her family, friends, sailing on Diefenbaker Lake, bowling, going to church and music. Mom loved being out in her yard and watching the clouds. We would like to thank the incredible staff at Green Falls Landing who treated her like family. A special thanks to Keely who was like another daughter, always there to help. A joint Celebration of Life will be held at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina, SK on Monday, June 6, 2022, at 11:15 a.m. for Maxyne, who passed away January 4, 2021 and her son Grant, who passed away June 8, 2021. Flowers gratefully declined. Family and friends so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, 20 Eglinton Avenue West, 16th Floor Toronto, ON M4R 1K8 or your favorite charity. Thank-you.
