Chris Michael Lovely, 59, passed away at home on July 15, 2021. He is survived by his wife Janice Warriner, sons William and Tristan (girlfriend Peyton Fiessel) all of Regina; sisters Kim Lovely, Regina, Janice (Doug) Spencer, McLean, Rae (Joe) Mead, Cheyenne, WY; In-laws Charlene and Mervin Warriner, sister-in-law Yvette (Colin) Olfert, Weyburn, nieces and nephews, Dallas and Rhys Spencer, JoAnn and Jacquelin Mead, Kaitlyn and Trinity Howells.
Predeceased by his parents W.J.(Bill) and Marvella (Lamontagne) Lovely, grandparents John and Blanche Lovely, and Fred and Elizabeth Lamontagne, nephew Shane Spencer, many aunts and uncles.
Chris was schooled in Regina until 1972 when he was enrolled in the Saskatchewan School for the Deaf in Saskatoon, where he stayed until 1980. He came home then and worked various jobs until he got on with the City of Regina in 1982 where he worked in Roadways, Waterworks, Sewers, and Hydrovac divisions.
Chris liked all things outside, especially hunting, fishing and quadding/dirtbiking. He was a fix-it person who could fix anything broken or do a work-around to get it functional.
A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date in St. Peter’s R.C. Church, by invitation only.
Chris will be missed by all who were close to him. We all have memories to cherish. We take comfort in knowing Chris will be welcomed by all who have gone before and keeping his place ready for arrival. Chris has departed to a much better place where there is no cancer or pain. Till we all meet again….
