My mother-in-law lived at Broadway Terrace when your parents first moved there and I visited them at that time. My sister-in-law who lives in Regina told me about Dan's passing and I had
hoped to send your Mom a card but she was no longer at Broadway Terrace and I didn't know where
to reach her. Growing up across from your family on Langley St., we were neighbours and friends.
Your parents were always very inclusive. My parents made a number of trips with the Glengarry
group and were also part of the Wesley Whirlers. When I travelled to Europe as a student your
Mom arranged a visit with your Uncle Bill and Aunt Christine and they were kind enough to
invite us for lunch and tour us around Rome. Beulah was such a kind and generous person and
had a great sense of humour. She had a life well lived and will be missed.

My sincere sympathy to all the Stinsons. Beulah was our neighbor on Langley Street for as long as I lived there. She always had a smile for everyone. She and Glen were the leaders of our Glengarry tours and they were fantastic! I last saw Beulah a few months ago at Broadway Terrace, just before her birthday and I’m so glad I did. We were all blessed to have had her in our lives.

My sympathies to Beulah's family on the loss of their dear Beulah.
I first met Beulah when we attended Scott Collegiate and both joined Mr. Steer's glee club. My husband, Frank, and I later connected with Beulah and Glen through square dancing at Wesley United Church. This led to a long friendship with them and many other couples from there! We also traveled extensively with them on many of their Glengarry tours, including the original family camping trips as well as many international ones! Tours were always fun and interesting with Beulah and Glen and created many lasting memories. One memory in particular is that when camping, a staple for breakfast was always a bowlful of porridge! Our family enjoyed swimming in the Stinson pool. No matter what the occasion, Beulah and Glen were always gracious hosts.

To Shelley and family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing... my mom and dad (Maurice & Doran Johnson) were friends with your parents and had great fun with them at square dancing, church events, neighbourhood events, and of course many Glengarry travel adventures. The stories they would tell!
And I'm sure many more that they couldn't tell!
Your mom was a wonderful person, and I always enjoyed chatting with her (unfortunately that was often at funerals at Wesley Church). 94 years -- wow! an amazing life for an amazing woman. My condolences to you and your family.

Donna and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom/grandma. She was a "one in a million" type of person! In my younger years I think I lived over at your mom and dad's place more than I did at mine! Your mom never complained about having an extra mouth to feed and always made me feel welcome. Whether it was skiing, camping or trips around the city I was always included. It's so nice to know that she led such an interesting and fulfilling life. I'll always have very fond memories of her!

Please accept condolences on the passing of Beulah, from myself on the behalf of Lorrain Baade (nee Raymond). My mother always cherished the memories of their friendship, as teenagers in Regina and through the years. So sorry for your loss.
