None of you know me but when I saw the obituary I wanted to share a memory.
I well remember McFarlane's store as I too was raised in the Paisley area. I was 4 years younger than Anne. I used to go to town with my Dad and brothers & did the shopping for my Mom as she had had pleurisy & pneumonia so did not go for the 5 mile ride with the team & sleigh. I was always happy to be shopping in their store and I would stay by the big stove (keeping warm) until it was time to start for home again, I was just telling one of my friends about that a few days ago.
