Richard Derrel Larson was born August 6, 1972 in Yorkton, SK to Derrel and Anne Larson. Rick suddenly passed away on August 8, 2022. He was raised on a farm near Bredenbury, SK. Rick made a choice to serve God when he was a young boy. After graduating from Esterhazy High School he moved to Saskatoon. He enjoyed his work at Royal Signs and responded to the call of God to share the gospel story. God put a deep love in his heart for souls and Rick served enthusiastically in Saskatchewan, Pakistan, U.A.E, Bangladesh and Alberta. He discovered his love for languages when he was learning Urdu and Bangla. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Derrel and Anne Larson, Wolseley, SK; his siblings, Marla (Rocky) Munro, Bredenbury, SK, Annelle (Clayton) Biggar, Kamloops, BC and David (Tanis) Larson, Calgary, AB; his nieces and nephews, Tia, Tyrone, Izak and Isla Munro, Austin, Anya, Zara and Zane Biggar, Kai, Cruz, Clay, Suzy and Summer Larson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters in the ministry and many, many dear friends. All who knew him will fondly remember some of his other interests in life; like speaking with people of Eastern culture, cooking ethnic food, good coffee, fishing and practical jokes.
