Whitney and Chelsea:
I was so sorry to learn yesterday of the loss of your dear mom. I worked closely with Leanne for many years at the Ministry of Education. She was so smart, and so gifted in language and patience. We shared a strong work ethic and sense of humour. She was elegant, always looking her best. We shared a love of the Riders and often started our days with a chat about the latest wins, defeats, player trades, and anything else Rider related. When we first worked together and for a long time, we were just two in our work unit, often laughing about our "party of two". She loved her family immensely. She talked about you all the time, her daughters and her grandchildren and what was happening in your lives. Her love for you shone.
I will miss her immensely.

I was so saddened to hear that Leanne had taken leave from us on Nov 9. She is one of the dearest colleague-friends of my lifetime. Will miss her.

I just heard of your Mom’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. Leanne was my boss at the Book Bureau in the Ministry of Education many years ago. She always treated me with respect and kindness and even though I last saw her before her cancer came back, I considered her a friend.
