For you did not go

Standing by your side
Heart full of pride
Just wanted to help you through
No feeling blue
Calmed regrets with "we'll meet again"
And be together with time to spend
If it's God's will, you had your fill
All is forgiven becasue you were ill
You took my hand
Helped me understand
That our journey through life
Is but a brief span
Cherish time with loved ones
Take long walks in the sand
We'll be looking up for you
But show us your smile
