Obituary of Steven John Ceholski

STEVEN JOHN CEHOLSKI Steven passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family in the early hours of June 6, 2013 at the age of 59 after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on October 3, 1953. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 36 years, Ursula; two daughters, Delaine (Przemek) and Ranelle; one sister, Mary, and her children Carla (Quinn), Loressa and Chris; niece Deanna (Dave) and nephews Chris and Trent; and cousin Larry (Elaine). He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Sophie Ceholski; his in-laws, Peter and Hilda Pieracci; and his brother-in-law, Andrew Pieracci. Steve taught high school science and mathematics for 34 years with the Regina Public School System, finishing his career at Campbell Collegiate and retiring in 2010. He and Ursula retired to Vancouver Island where they enjoyed learning to golf and ski and loved exploring the outdoors with their dog, Jasper. Steve will be remembered as a loving husband and devoted father. Taking care of his family was his priority. Steve was a true friend, a man of integrity and generous in spirit. Most of all he was a teacher at heart, who strived to lead by example. Steve demonstrated this to the very end with his strength and grace. This will be his legacy.
