Dear Traci, Tim, Andrew and Family,
I am so very sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and heart. I have many fond memories of Joy, and of course they are from our years growing up at the lake. I think Joy, among other 'moms' spent a lot of energy chasing us out of the cottage, or guest cottage, or tent, or shed etc., becoming frustrated with the hours we could fritter away eating pounds of Sids sunflower seeds, drinking cokes, and playing endless games of cards. Those were sweet times and Joy was very much a presence in my life particularly in those formative years! I can still see her shaking her head and walking away unable to convince us that there were other things we could be doing!
Please hang in there for each other and take good care during this time,

My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. Bob and Joy were friends of mine for many years. We attended many social functions as members of the Kinsmen Club, the WaWa Shrine Temple, the Assiniboia Club and the Liberal Party. I will miss them both.
