Though cards are in the mail I just wanted to leave an extra note on line. She will always be Aunt Ev to me and I cherish the memories I have. I so loved my sleep overs at the Regina Fenske Hotel, the opportunity of packing and driving the U-Haul when they moved from Yorkton to Regina, then unpacking for what seemed to be days but really was not. I loved sharing diabetic news with her and getting those very accurate quilting tips. I will always remember her always dressed to seize the day and seemed to always look like a queen every time I saw her. Her gentle nature and strong business ethic will always be in the fore-front of my mind. Sincere Sympathy to Uncle Harold and all of you as you go through this trying time, a year of firsts, and the strength you have as a family that will help you cling to all the wonderful memories. I am so glad she did not suffer long and is resting in the arms of Jesus. We love you all.

Harold & family..my heart goes out to all of you. So hard to believe Ev is gone. I was hoping to see her in Oct when I come out to Saskatchewan. I will always treasure the hospitality and good times spent at your place in Regina. Ev gave me a pile of quilting magazines when you moved. Heaven now has another beautiful quilter. RIP Ev.

I was surprised when mom called to inform me of Ev's passing. I have lots of fond memories of spending many days at the house in Yorkton as well as building the cabin and hanging out. Your mom was a great lady and will be sadly missed.

My best memories of Eveline are the days we spent in Hawaii. Never forget the night she was taking us to a very good restaurant that was just a few blocks away. Yes after almost an hour walking we got there. Good thing it was that far because the smorg was unbelievable and we needed the exercise to help wear off the 1st 2000 calories. Eveline was always smiling and was a very kind hearted person. You will all miss her but she left such wonderful memories.
