I was so saddened for you all to read that Gwen had passed through this life. We worked together for many years at the U of R..we worked but laughed a lot. She was a gem and I remember her fondly.

Our heartfelt sympathy to Heather and Rick and all the family and friends of Gwen. You are missed. Thank you for being there when I arrived at the University. Thank you for supporting me and my family with joy, hope, laughter and a positive vision at work, in our homes and communities. Your laughter...the fun we had... will be with me always. My career was inspired by you, Gwen. Thank you for calling us, Heather. Gwen is missed. Tried to have lunch with her last week, tried calling, got worried with no answer. Very sad today. So many happy memories will remain with us. Hugs.

In my books one of the best has gone to make the heavens even happier! I truly treasured our friendship, the lunch bunch gatherings, the political similarities, the work ethic, the laughs at the expertise that still can't cure dandruff or inner ear problems and also my personal belief that so many good people came from Wolseley, Saskatchewan. Hugs!

Gwen will most definitely be missed! She was not only a colleague at work but a friend as well! We lived in the same apartment bldg so we were neighbours as well! She was always jolly, had good advice and cared about the entrance program students. We miss you Gwen!
