Obituary of Darlene Anne Dyck

DARLENE ANNE DYCK (née Mujygla) October 21, 1954 - October 2, 2013 Darlene was born October 21, 1954 in Regina, SK to Frank and Anne Mujygla and passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the age of 59. She spent her school and working years in Regina. As a young woman she travelled to Poland, eager to explore her rich family heritage and family connections. Later, pleasure took her to California and to Vegas where she saw Elvis, her most favoured musician, perform. The sunshine destinations of Hawaii, Jamaica and the Dominican helped her escape at least part of the cold winter months in Regina. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, her father, Frank Joseph Mujygla, on August 7, 1989 and her mother, Anne Mujygla (née Wawro) on January 20, 1993, both of Regina, SK. Darlene shared her father’s love of football and the two of them attended many games together. There was a strong bond of love between them and his passing was very difficult for Darlene and for her mother, who she faithfully visited nearly every day until her passing in 1993. In 2007, after 30 years, Darlene retired from her career at Kramer Ltd. where she was an honest and loyal friend and co-worker who cared and contributed much. She had many different hobbies and crafts that she enjoyed over the years. Her passion for cross-stitch was evident by her framed creations which hung on the walls of her home and those she made and gave away as gifts to family and friends. Darlene had a kind and generous heart and is sadly missed by friends and relatives. A Graveside Service will be held at Regina Memorial Gardens, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. where Darlene will be laid to rest. We will forever remember and cherish the good memories we have of Darlene.
