Vi, am so sorry to hear about Leo, I know he will be greatly missed, for sure the coffee table at WRC. won't be the same. His smile was contagious and when we needed an answer, just ask Leo, great memories. The biggest smile was for you, your love and dedication, and Maggie, she was special, it warmed our hearts to see this bond. Thinking of you with deepest sympathy, take care and hugs.

Dear Vi
Saturday afternoon and I am in Saskatoon and wishing I could have joined you this aft. When I told my mother, Isabel, about Leo's death, she had many memories of you & Leo (and Maggie!) from her 3 + years living just down the hall from Leo. It was he who told her not to worry about taking a gouge out of the wall when she was first driving her powerchair.
Isabel commented on how you & Leo supported her and so many others during all your years at WRC. Thanks for all the two of you taught us about expressing gratitude to staff, being advocates, and the importance of families being taught how to monitor ventilators so residents could leave their rooms. We know you two were instrumental in changing Wascana polices over the years.
