Maureen was a special friend from teaching days at Lord Beaverbrook High School. I will always have many fond memories of fun times we shared at work and outside of work. She knew everyone and had a large circle of close friends. She was trendy and always dressed in great style and could pull it off. I will miss her.

It was with a heavy heart to hear of Maureen's passing!
We were at Van Horne together from 1976-1986!
She was in PE with Liz Lemire, Bob Tuff, and Joe Forrayi.
She ran that dept like a queen bee and they all listened!
Mo and her gang made PE fun for problem kids and got a lot of them to get involved with their education by her being a positive role model. She even had tough guys learning how to square dance and smiling!
Among all her traits was the loyalty she had for her friends and she had many!
We are in Hawaii on Dec 21, so we will miss the gathering but will be thinking of you Mo.
You were one of the "gang"
Love
Ming

To ease the loss of a loved one-
Remember the qualities you admired most in Maureen.
Take them into your heart and practise them the rest of your life.
You have not lost her, but will carry a part of her with you forever.
At last, she is in peace without pain.
Sincere condolences
Margaret and Bob Stevenson

Rest easy, Maureeen. The fight is over.
Christmas Eve will not be the same without you and me sharing a tin of smoked oysters in my parent's basement.

So sad that the fight is over...Moe will be missed by so many. Loved being her locker partner, playing ladies day and going out for ribs on our birthdays. Good thoughts go out to Ken, Lynn and her remaining family.

I have so many fond memories of my friend Maureen. I remember her living on the corner and the hours I would spend their feeling like part of the family. Although we did not stay in touch over the years I have so many wonderful memories of my good friend.
You are gone my friend but not forgotten...

We are sad to hear of Moe's passing. It was always inspiring to see her at the golf course whenever she could get there, always sporting a smile and cracking a joke or two. We'll miss her.
