We offer our condolences to all the family of Ivy. A very special lady who epitomizes the word "friend". There is no-one kinder, supportive and true friend than Ivy and she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. On our last visit with her here in Regina she gave us a set of "clown" salt and pepper shakers from her collection which we will always treasure along with our memories of her generosity to not only her friends and family but to all of the organizations that she supported throughout her life....She truly will be missed by many. Pat and Tony Birchall

It is with deep sadness that I read in the Feb. 4th Leader Post of Ivy's death. I was her neighbour directly across the back lane when she lived on Angus Crescent. I remember her kindness to me when my husband passed away. She was always cheerful and very involved in the Regina community. I offer my deepest sympathy to her family - daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sincerely, Evelyn Gay.

Ivy was a wonderful friend and neighbour; a go-getter, so full of life and energy; a giant in her community despite her small frame. She had no pretences - what you saw is what you got, her English accent just adding to her charm. She could be seen most every morning barely able to peer over the steering wheel of her car on a mission: to the swimming pool, to volunteer, to seize the day.
When we lived across the lane from one another in Regina's Crescents, we discovered the playful side of her character. Our girls being the same age as her granddaughters who were living north of Saskatoon, she indulged our children as if they were her own. Ivy, we cherish so many fond memories of you and John. You will be missed by all of us. Rest in Peace.
Peter, Judi, Jennifer and Jillian Hughes.
