Obituary of Ivy McNamee

It is with sadness that we announce Ivy’s passing of on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the age of 79. Ivy was a long-time volunteer in both Saskatoon and Regina. She was active with her church, the Red Cross, Hospital Auxiliaries, Eastern Star and the Regina Symphony. Predeceased by her loving husband John; Ivy is survived by her daughters Julie of Pitt Meadows, BC and Deborah (Trevor) of Vanscoy, SK; granddaughters Julie (Kyle), Caitlin and Stephanie and her great-granddaughters Avery and Georgia. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends around the world. Thank you to the wonderful staff of St Paul's Hospital Palliative Care unit for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make a donation in memory of Ivy to a charity of their choice.
